Day 1

The first day of our cruise will start in the morning, when you get on board and head northward, towards the picturesque, ancient town of Mělník. In the afternoon, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the town and even to sample delicious local wine at the Mělník Castle. When you come back to the boat, we’ll continue sailing along the Elbe River to Litoměřice, where you’ll be treated to an enchanting walk through the historical center of the town. Romantic feel of the place will be enhanced thanks to its gracefully lit square with a renaissance town hall and the refined Cathedral of St Stephen, built in the late 17th century.

Day 2

On the second day, you’ll get to admire the entry gate to the Czech Basin, called Porta Bohemica. In fact, it is a four-kilometer stretch of the Elbe River hemmed in by steep slopes of the Czech Central Mountains. The boat will go on along the river towards Ústí nad Labem; this part of the Elbe is a bit quieter and offers unusual views over surrounding lakes. Thanks to that, it is compared to natural miracles of Scandinavian landscape. The day full of interesting experiences will then continue with exploration of the town of Roudnice nad Labem and easy climb to the ancient Kokořín Castle, whose tower offers truly fairy-tale views over Kokořínsko, an adjacent conservation area. And your evening back on board will be made even more enjoyable by live music, inviting you to dance or to sing along.

Day 3

The third day will start with a peaceful ride along the Elbe River to Nymburk, with its historical center declared a heritage zone. But the biggest draw of the day will come a bit later: Kutná Hora, the pearl among Czech towns. Thanks to dozens historical buildings, this ancient town is one of the most visited places in the Czech Republic, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kutná Hora is also famous for its old tradition of silver mining, which can be explored in the Czech Museum of Silver and one of its silver mines. And then there is the St Barbora’s Church, a gothic gem with five naves. In the afternoon, you’ll sail to Poděbrady for a charming evening walk through the center of the town and along its spa colonnade.

Day 4

The morning cruise to Brandýs nad Labem offers unique opportunity to put your feet up and relax. In the afternoon, you’ll visit Nelahozeves, the birth place of the world-famous composer Antonín Dvořák, where you can explore the town, including Dvořák Memorial in his family house and the renaissance castle with its collection of old European art and exhibition devoted to aristocratic interiors of the Lobkowiczs family. Thanks to original style and nature of its collections, the Nelahozeves Castle is known as “the Little Louvre”. Among other paintings, you’ll be able to admire works by Peter Paul Rubens, Diego Velázquez, or Paolo Veronese.

Day 5

On the fifth day, the boat will take you to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. And what is there to look forward to? An enchanting walk through the center, where you’ll get to see the most interesting sights of the city, complete with illuminating commentary. The medieval feel of Prague can be best appreciated when strolling from Charles Bridge to the Old-Town Square, bustling with activity, full of tourists and Prague citizens alike. And then there is a train ride on historic railway. Of course, you’re also welcome to explore both mysterious and picturesque places of the city, to buy some souvenirs and to sample traditional Czech beer. When you come back on board, a delicious dinner will be waiting for you; and if you feel like it, you can join the others and go to see the Křižík Fountain with its fascinating sound and light show.
